Streamlined Fleet Maintenance Integration
FC Inspect and FC Hub’s new integration between the Inspect and Maintenance modules streamlines fleet management by automating defect tracking. Defects submitted in the FC Inspect app create repair reminders in the Maintenance module, and once completed, they’re automatically marked as resolved, ensuring no maintenance is missed.
Inspect Configuration Settings
Configure settings on the FC Inspect page to create maintenance reminders from defects. Major and minor defects have separate options for tailored management.
Customizable Maintenance Reminders: Automatic or Manual
FC Inspect lets you choose between automatic or manual creation of maintenance reminders for defects. With manual selection, you can pick defects and adjust settings before sending them to Maintenance. Automatic reminders are generated with default settings, and any changes can be made in the Maintenance module for streamlined management.Customize Due Dates for Maintenance Reminders
Users can now set a default number of days for maintenance reminders in FC Inspect, ensuring timely and efficient scheduling of fleet maintenance tasks.Flexible Maintenance Reminder Recipients
FC Inspect allows you to easily specify who should receive maintenance reminders, whether internal users or external contacts like repair shops or mechanics. This flexibility ensures that everyone involved in fleet maintenance stays informed, even if they’re not directly part of your team or FC Hub.Manually Send Defects to Maintenance
With FC Inspect, if you’ve chosen to manually create maintenance reminders, simply send defects to Maintenance from the defects list or details page. This gives you full control over your maintenance workflow.Send Defects to Maintenance
In FC Inspect, select “Send to Maintenance” from the defect list menu. If unavailable, it means a reminder already exists or the defect is not set to trigger one.Batch Send Defects to Maintenance
Fleet Managers can easily select multiple defects in FC Inspect and use the wrench icon to send them all to Maintenance at once, streamlining your process. Reminders are only created for defects without existing reminders and those configured to allow them.Track Maintenance Reminders with Ease
When a maintenance reminder is created, the wrench icon appears in the Repair Status column. Simply select “View in Maintenance” from the action menu to access the reminder directly in the Maintenance module.Send Defects to Maintenance from Details Screen
In FC Inspect, create maintenance reminders from the Defect Details screen by selecting the three dots menu and choosing “Send to Maintenance.” If unavailable, it means a reminder already exists or the defect type excludes reminders.Quick Access to Defect Reminders in the Maintenance Module
View FC Inspect defect reminders easily in the FC Hub Maintenance module or directly from the Defects page in Inspect, keeping repairs on track with seamless access.Quick Access to the Maintenance Module
Navigate to the Maintenance Module via the wrench icon in the FC Hub Menu. FC Inspect defect reminders are marked with the Inspect icon next to the service plan name for easy identification.Quick Access to Maintenance Reminders in FC Inspect
Once a defect is sent to maintenance in FC Inspect, the “Send to Maintenance” option is replaced with “View in Maintenance.” With the right permissions, you can easily access this option from both the Defects list and details pages, taking you directly to the Incomplete Maintenance reminders for streamlined tracking and management.View and Complete Maintenance Reminders
By selecting the three dots menu and choosing “Complete reminder,” you can view all the reminder details. For reminders created from an FC Inspect defect, the source will be clearly marked, and additional fields will appear to automatically mark the defect as repaired upon completion, ensuring a seamless and efficient process.Effortlessly Mark Inspect Defects as Repaired
With access to both FC Hub Maintenance and FC Inspect, users can easily mark defects as repaired from either module. If a user lacks FC Inspect access, they won’t be able to mark an Inspect defect as repaired, ensuring streamlined processes and clear permissions for completing related maintenance reminders.Seamless Completion of Inspect Defect Reminders
For users with both Maintenance and FC Inspect access, marking an Inspect defect as complete is easier than ever. Fields like Date of Completion, Maintenance Performed By, Work Order, and Comment auto-populate from your stored FC Inspect data. Signed By and Date Signed are also auto-filled with your saved signature. If you haven’t stored your signature in FC Inspect, you’ll be prompted to do so before completing future reminders in Maintenance. No access to FC Inspect? Contact your admin to resolve it and stay efficient.Effortless Sync Between FC Inspect & Maintenance
Updates in FC Inspect automatically sync with maintenance reminders:
- Repaired defect = Maintenance reminder completed.
- Not a defect = Reminder completed.
- Reopened defect = New maintenance reminder created.
Stay streamlined with automatic updates for seamless workflow management!
Defects for Non-Fleet Assets Cannot be Sent to Maintenance
Non-fleet asset defects can no longer be sent to Maintenance. A reminder will appear if selected, and an informational message in Settings explains the change, ensuring clarity and simplifying your maintenance workflow.
Asset Photos Required
Fleet managers can now require drivers to take a photo of each asset during their DVIR inspections, ensuring they are at the correct location. This feature is optional by default but can be easily enabled for mandatory photos, adding extra accountability and streamlining asset tracking.
Asset Photos Display on the Inspection Details Page
Asset photos now appear on the Inspection Details page when drivers submit a DVIR. Click the inspection row to view the photo, with the option to enlarge for a closer look.
Mobile Module
Asset Photos Required for Mobile
Now you can add a photo for each asset during new inspections, boosting accuracy and transparency.
Now Supporting 7 New AI Triggered Events
FC Vision can now detect specific types of distracted driving, including:
- Texting Detection: The system logs an event when the driver is holding a cellphone while driving at a minimum speed of 10 mph. Texting is one of the most common distractions and detecting it in real-time can help prevent dangerous driving behaviors.
- Inattentive Driving: FC Vision detects when the driver’s gaze alternates between the road and a non-driving task, such as adjusting the radio or interacting with in-cabin controls. This distraction is logged when the vehicle is traveling at a minimum speed of 6.25 mph, and the event is triggered after 10 seconds of distraction.
- Yawning Detection: If the driver yawns while driving at a minimum speed of 6.25 mph, the system logs an event. Yawning can be an indication of fatigue, which is another significant factor in distracted driving.
Policy Enforcement: Smoking and Drinking Violations
FC Vision also helps fleets enforce non-smoking and drinking policies. By using FC Vision dashcams, fleet operators can monitor, and report violations related to smoking and drinking:
- Smoking Detection: If smoking occurs while driving at a speed of 10 mph or higher, the system logs the event. This feature is useful for enforcing no-smoking policies in company vehicles.
- Drinking Detection: Similarly to smoking, the system logs events when the driver is holding a drinking object while driving at a minimum speed of 10 mph. This helps monitor and deter drinking while operating a vehicle.
Additional Supported Violations
In addition to distraction detection, FC Vision detects other driving violations:
- Traffic Light Violation*: The system logs events when the driver runs a red light. This feature helps improve driver compliance with traffic laws and promotes safer driving behaviors.
- Roll Over Detection: FC Vision can detect when a vehicle rolls over, logging the event to provide valuable data for accident analysis and response.
*The Traffic Light Violation (vertical lights) is currently in beta and is initially supported for the USA.
To ensure accurate event detection, the camera performs an initial calibration at the start of your trip. For optimal performance, simply drive normally for the first 2-5 minutes to allow the system to calibrate correctly. Drivers should avoid erratic head movements during this phase to ensure the system can monitor your drive with precision, enhancing safety and reliability from the very start.
Download Videos in Split Screen
You can now download a combined video featuring both the driver and the road view directly to your computer. No more having to download two separate videos.
